Having had the opportunity to wear many hats at early-stage startups and various companies, I identify user needs and thinking through the product experience with cross-functional teams. Through these experiences I've gained learnings from balancing quick validations and longer-term investments.
As a multidisciplinary designer, I prioritize building relationships with teams. Previously, I led design at Lumity as the first designer and spent some time UX consulting at Shyp, Nuna Health, Adecco Google, and more. I studied Human-Computer Interaction and Industrial Design at Carnegie Mellon during undergraduate and graduate school. A couple sponsored projects I worked on were for the Nissan Leaf and GE Healthcare during my time there.
At the core, I understand people, their stories, and challenges. These insights drive me to blend research, analysis, and creativity to create new opportunities using technology.
Sketches, typographic studies, industrial design, foundational design work, and fine art are past experimental learnings from my journey. Currently, on the weekends you'll find me working with various mediums, technologies, and embracing the play of jiu-jitsu.
